Hufvudstadsbladet Features Volare's Journey Toward Industrial Scale

Journalist Sören Jonsson explored the development of Volare 01 in Pori, which is expected to become one of the world's largest insect protein facilities with annual capacity to produce up to 5,000 tonnes of dry protein.

As the insect sector matures, Volare remains focused on applications where insect-based ingredients can deliver the greatest impact at scale, particularly in aquaculture and pet food. Looking beyond Pori, the company is also exploring opportunities for future expansion across Europe.
